L’exposition comprend des œuvres de Josef Albers, Alice Aycock, Joseph Beuys, Dara Birnbaum, Ian Carr-Harris, Paterson Ewen, Fischli & Weiss, Gilbert & George, Peter Gnass, Joan Jonas, Kurt Kranz, Guillermo Kuitca, Suzy Lake, Sherrie Levine, El Lissitzky, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Alex Morrison, Jean-Paul Mousseau, Gunter Nolte, Anders Oinonen, Nam June Paik, Giulio Paolini, Mary Pratt, Richard Prince, Keith Sonnier, Haim Steinbach, Lotte Stam-Beese, Paul Strand, Françoise Sullivan, Serge Tousignant, Ian Wallace, Weegee,Gordon Webber, Rhonda Weppler & Trevor Mahovsky, et Bill Woodrow.

CANADA - TORONTO - DAN PERJOVSCHI

Internationally renowned artist, Dan Perjovschi, filled the walls of the Roloff Beny Gallery with his editorial drawings. Presented by the Institute for Contemporary Culture, Perjovschi is recognized for his unique style that mixes cartoons and graffiti to depict witty and incisive commentary on political, social and cultural issues of the moment.
Using permanent markers directly on the walls of museums around the world, Perjovschi’s simplified style of line drawing allows him to condense the conflicts and dilemmas of the world into a distilled personal commentary.

U.S.A. - SALT LAKE CITY-UTAH - INFLUENCES OF THE SILK ROAD

What do jade, chess, the camera obscura and Hinduism have in common? They were all exchanged on the Silk Road, of course! The Silk Road was a series of routes that crossed through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia from the first millennium B.C.E. through the second millennium C.E. In this alluring exhibition, visitors of all ages can explore objects from the Museum’s permanent collection that either traveled on the Silk Road or reflect the religions, technologies, and goods that were exchanged en route. Families and students will enjoy a treasure hunt through the exhibition and other galleries, get educational insight through an easy-to-use audio tour, and even satisfy their senses at a spice sniff station.
